Finding the perfect ‘next book’ for a child

Posted on May 19, 2016

“What should [insert name and age of child] read next?”

It’s a question that comes up over and over again. So much so, that I thought it was time to create a dedicated group to this very thorny question.

Introducing ‘Your Kid’s Next Read‘, a Facebook group for anyone who’s be looking for the perfect next book for a child, tween or teen. Join us for book chat, reviews, featured authors, and more, but mostly join us simply to ask a group of interested people ‘what should my child read next?’

My co-admin for the group is the wonderful Megan Daley from Children’s Books Daily, who’ll be sharing the best of the books she comes across in her day job as a teacher-librarian and in her ‘rest of life’ job as a parent and blogger.

Hope you’ll join us!

To get you started, we’ve created some lists!

Master List of recommend reads for ages 10+, 12+ and YA for tweens, based on the suggestions from the group. You’ll find it here
