Allison Tait
Allison Tait (A. L. Tait) is the author of eight middle-grade novels, published by Hachette and Penguin Random House in Australia, as well as internationally in territories such as the US, the UK, Lithuania and Turkey.
Her books have appeared on shortlists (Readings Children’s Book Prize, Aurealis Awards) and longlists (CBCA Children’s Book of the Year Award), and are studied in classrooms around the country. Find out more about them here.

Sue Whiting is an acclaimed children’s and YA author and editor who has worked in publishing for 20+ years.
Sue was senior commissioning editor and publishing manager at Walker Books Australia or many years before leaving in 2016 to concentrate on her writing.
She is a freelance children’s book editor and writing coach, and the author of many books, including the bestselling Missing, the award-winning A Swim In The Sea and a number of CBCA Notable Books.
