So, it’s the weekend. The sun is shining and my crapola week is behind me. For these and many more reasons, I thought I’d try something new today. A linky of my very own.
For this one, I’m going back to the beginning. To the murky birth of my blog – and yours. To those posts you’ve written that you love, but maybe didn’t get the attention you feel they deserve. To the oldies and goodies.
It’s easy. You’ve already written the post! Just link up one of your favourite older posts and we’ll give it the respect it deserves. C’mon, you’ve sweated over these babies – give them a chance to shine one more time!
All you have to do to participate is to be a follower of this blog, use the Linky to linky up and go comment on a few of these hidden gems. That’s it.
Look forward to reading all your dusted-off posts!
Thanks everyone for joining in my first linky. @Bodaciousboomer – I think I messed up the timing end of things, will do better next week I promise!
Hi kiddo. I must be challenged but I can’t make this work for me. Can you perhaps speculate why?-
I’m a Geniophobiac. They say admitting it is the first step. I posted it on 9/21/2010.
You do know how to tempt a girl…
Like some of the other commenters, I’m fairly new to blogging, but I’ll have a look back and see if I can find something.
Thanks for this opportunity, Allison – it’s very generous of you, especially for newbie bloggers like me. This post was one of my hardest to write but I’m also proud of it. I hope people reading it who have ‘been there’ with PND feel a little less alone. J x
What a great idea – I love finding new blogs and then going back through their old posts to see where they ‘came from’ xxx
This is such a wonderful idea Allison, uncovering the hidden treasures.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such lovely words. I have enjoyed my journey this afternoon, thank you.
Have a wonderful evening. xxx
Hi Allison, I don’t know if I’ve been brave enough to comment until now (although, I definitely a fan/follower). Love this idea of bringing back old posts and promise I will comment more from now on. xx
I love this idea for a linky – it’s such a treat to be able to share ‘the forgotten posts’. Back when only my sisters read and commented (and dear Annie, of course!). I like many of my posts from this time and I was still finding my feet as a blogger. I chose this one because it has really good memories of being ME for me. A rare time when you’re a grown-up, don’t you think? x
This is such a great idea!
I love the idea of going back and finding some gems.
Have a happy weekend.
What a top plan! Lovely linky idea – I am off to hunt a suitable post down……
what a great way for a shortcut to some great posts!
thanks for the opportunity to join in. x
Hey Allison…thanks for doing this. My link is about a friend who donated a kidney…I thought that was worth another twirl!
What a great idea, as a new blogger I only have a few months to look through, but will be back with a link up.
Hi @kj, very nice to meet you and thanks for linking up!
I’ve been blogging for a little bit, and have added my link. I’m still new at ‘advertising’ my blog, which tends to explain why it’s yet to hit double digit followers.
@Jamie – hooray!
Wow, Allison, I get more comments on my blog through posting in your blog than I get at any other time.
Lovely Idea! I have included the 4th post I ever wrote (about giving up smoking which is apt at the moment)
what a great idea! I wrote this back in june, when we were very new and finding our feet…
who am I kidding we are still finding our feet!
Wishing you a much better week – enjoy the sunshine!
my post is from my weight watchers with kidspot trial. It still makes me giggle so I hope it has the same effect for others. I have never been to another spin class again – ever.
So I chose my above post (No 2 – woo hoo!) because it’s Spring again (I wrote it last October when I had about, ooh let’s see… 1 follower!) and I’m still having the same issues. (Slowly does it now.)
Woudn’t call it my ‘best’ work, but prob not seen before and I thought it alright!
Thanks for hosting this, hon! GREAT idea!
